DILEMMA OF A GHOST
I watch and wait
Sitting on high
Invisible to all but all seeing
I see the beauty, the strength, the resilience
I see young people falling in love
Out of love
I see the parents struggling for the child
The old, reconciling what they were
What they could have been,
What they are
I see all
Through the walls of houses
Through the walls of human minds
Destinies and Emotions.
Flitting between worlds,
Sometimes visible, sometimes invisible
This has been my fate for so long
That the struggles of the one I see have become mine.
Sometimes I just wish to cry out
And say “Don’ t ”
When I see that a major blunder
Is about to happen
I wish to say “Don’ t
You will mar everything
Go for the straight line
I see the clear horizons
From where I am
You don’ t ”.
But then you are living
With the mistakes of your soul
Whereas I, in Limbo
Observe, all knowing
Living but scarcely living
Unseen, Unacknowledged, Unheard…
